CM Raghubar Das has stressed on developing a new town plan for Jharia. In a meeting with Chief Secretary Rajiv Gauba, officers of Water Resources and Urban Development departments along with BCCl officers at his official residence on Saturday he ordered to develop the city into a smart city.
Bharat Coking Coal limited (BCCl) has marked a land of around 800 acres for the rehabilitation of Jharia residents. CM directed BCCl officials to fasten the initiatives taken for the rehabilitation. Also, he instructed to ensure basic facilities for the residents of the coal block area. Das said the union government is ready to provide all types of facilities for the rehabilitation.
