Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Friday raised compensation issue of Coal India limited against the land taken for coal mining in Jharkhand in a meeting with Jairam Ramesh. The CM wanted the Union Minister to exert his influence in clearing this right to the State.
Ramesh also supported the claim and termed it justified. He also assured the CM that he would talk to the Coal Minister and the Chairman of Coal India limited in this regard. The CM had earlier also raised the issue with Ramesh. later Rural Development Minister Chandrashekhar Dubey also joined the meeting.
