Chief Minister Raghubar Das today felicitated industrialists in a State level Prize Distribution programme under Prime Minister's Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP). The CM, on the occasion said that people in large number can be employed through small industries. The Government is promoting small industries and forming Small and Middle Industries Board, he added.
The CM said that the women of the State were also much industrious and the Government is running many schemes to promote women industrialists. The CM distributed prizes under eight categories. Under the Small and Middle Industries, the CM gave prizes to Precision Engineering, Micky Wire Works, Compto Ads. Pvt. ltd, Micro Metal Craft, Alcast, Jyoti Sero Rubber and Ashoka Foundry ltd. Under PMEGP, Har Har Gange Industries, Global Fiber Tech, DDS Enterprises and lorry Garments were awarded.
The first prize carried a shawl and cheque of `50,000, the Second ` 40,000 and the third carried `25,000. Women entrepreneurs were also awarded.
Industry Secretary Sunil Kumar Barnwal, other officers and people in big number were present in the programme.
