Chief Minister Raghubar Das on Tuesday described JMM as Jharkhand Mudra Mochan party, alleging that only one family has benefited after state was carved out of Bihar. Addressing a public meeting at Jaipura School Ground at Baharagora Das said, “JMM matlab Jharkhand Mudra Mochan Party. It (JMM) has looted adivasis and moolvasis. JMM has become a budhha (old) morcha with people like Shibu Soren and Champai Soren (mahagatbandhan candidate from Jamshedpur).”
Das said that JMM is ruled by a particular family only and if anyone wants to make big in the party he needs to take birth in that family. Das said that most of the CNT-SPT Act violation has been done by Soren family in the State alone. The family bought large chunk of lands misusing the act. He also went on to add that the grand alliance of opposition parties has been done to loot and plunder Jharkhand.
The Chief Minister expressed confidence that his party will win in all the 14 seats of Jharkhand. He said that the BJP workers are determined to bring a complete majority in the Centre again under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. CM also addressed election rallies at Ghatshila and Potka.
The Jamshedpur parliamentary constituency has 15,51,297 voters. Lok Sabha constituency comprises the following six Vidhan Sabha (legislative assembly) segments Baharagora Ghatshila, Potka, Jugsalai, Jamshedpur East and Jamshedpur West. Incidentally, there are nearly 1885 polling booths in as many as 1133 polling locations across the district which represents Jamshedpur Parliamentary constituency. The Steel city will go to poll on May 12.
