Chief Minister Raghubar Das has reiterated the need for industries in the State for its overall development and said that the Government was all set to eradicate poverty from the State through industry and Adivasi development.
Reviewing the Global Investors Summit (GIS) preparations today at his office, the CM also said that industrial development was as important as agricultural development.
“The Government has made, eased and simplified policies to eliminate poverty and unemployment from Jharkhand. It will focus at eliminating migration and use economic resources for the development of the people. Development of the state is related with development of agriculture and industry. Resource based value added plants should be established,” said the CM where his entire Cabinet, Chief Secretary Rajbala Verma, Additional Chief Secretary and Development Commissioner Amit Khare, DGP DK Pandey, Principal Secretaries, Secretaries and senior officers were present.
The CM said that the image of the state was changing all over the nation and the world and it was time for the State as a whole to change its mindset. He said that the Summit will attract investment and people visiting the Summit will have many reminiscences of the state when they go back.
The CM told the officers to be positive and courteous to the industrialists and businessmen. “They will invest in the state provided they see lucrative ambience for investment.
