Chief Minister Raghubar Das on Tuesday ordered dismissal of Anganbadi Sevika Chanchala Pandey and also directed to issue show cause notice to the concerned CDPO for keeping Angabadi Kendra of Sakan Pidhi in Palamu closed for over 8 years. Jitendra Kumar Singh of the same village, during ‘Seedhi Baat’ with the Chief Minister, alleged that the Anganbadi Sevika, who is the wife of local Mukhia Akhilesh Pandey, never went to the centre for even a single day in the last 8 years but has been withdrawing all funds for the same regularly by misguiding the senior officials.
“Despite repeated requests made by me and the other villagers, Chanchala Kumari never cared to open the Angawadi Kendra for the last eight years. We even approached the local BDO and the DC itself but all in vain. Her husband even challenges the villagers that no one can do any harm to,” said the complainant Jitendra Kumar. The Mukhia even lodged a false FIR against Kumar.
Commenting over his complaint, the Chief Minister advised officials not to come under anybody’s pressure whether he is a MlA or the CM himself. Everyone in this State should get justice, he said.
“Those who have become Mukhia in Palamu and Giridih are posing themselves as God, this is not good,” said the CM.
Similarly, hearing another complainant of Chatra district, the CM today ordered suspension of District Education Officer and also directed the officials to ensure that the Para Teacher, posted at Sharapurva Primary School, gets arrested and sent to jail. Complainant Doman Mahto alleged that despite a fund for three class rooms were withdrawn by the officials in the year 2007-08 only two classrooms were constructed and left incomplete by them.
“Despite repeated complaints made to the education department, nothing was done in this regard,” said Doman Mahto.
Chatra DC informed the CM that there was some dispute regarding a tree hence the construction work was not complete...the concerned officials have been warned and have assured that they will complete the work within 15 days.
Shobha Shivani coming from Saria Block of Giridih alleged that despite a direction given by the CM to Giridih DC to pay an amount of Rs 50,000 in March 2016 during Janta Darbar at Project Building, she has not been given a single penny by the officials. Hearing this, the CM announced to pay her a check of Rs 50,000 then and there from Chief Minister’s relief fund.
According to Shivani she was half burnt by a kerosene lamp on August 15, 2015 while she was studying for her part I examinations. She was then referred to M B Nursing Home Kolkata for better treatment where over a sum of Rs 7 lakh were spent on her by her family by taking laon from various sources.
The CM also asked Giridih DC to ensure payment of Rs 2.5 lakh which has already been sanctioned for her by the district administration.
While addressing the officials present there, the CM said that so many people are coming down to Ranchi to put their grievances into my notice through Seedhi Baat, itself is a proof that how sensitive are the people of Jharkhand towards the development of the state.
The CM also cleared that best administration is that where less orders are given hence the officials should take cognizance to the people’s grievances of their own without waiting for any orders from the above. He also stressed on increasing compliance rate of Seedhi Baat from 70 per cent to 100 per cent.
