Chief Minister Hemant Soren has directed Deputy Commissioner Godda to investigate the rape case with a Sadhvi and take action against those involved in the incident as soon as possible. Superintendent of Police, Godda apprised the Chief Minister that a person has been arrested after taking cognizance of the case.
The CM was informed that unidentified criminals had gang raped a Sadhvi of Godda Maharishi Mehiashram on Tuesday late night.
Meanwhile, a delegation of Block Resource Persons (BRP)/Cluster Resource Persons (CRP) federation met Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Tuesday. The delegation handed over a memorandum to the CM for 3,000 BRP / CRP working in the Jharkhand Education Project Council for 15 years. This delegation handed over a cheque of Rs 10,51,000 to the CM in the name of Chief Minister Relief Fund to deal with the Corona epidemic.
