Chief Minister interacted with villagers of Baribandh and asked them to be aware of development schemes. The CM talked to people of Baribandh village, Latehar through video conferencing. He talked to Panchayat Mukhiya Sunita Devi, women of the primitive tribe Sushma Devi, Vishwanath Singh, Basanti Kujur and many other villagers. The villagers spoke about their hardships and lack of mobile network, roads, schools, and irrigation facilities. Mukhiya Sunita Devi praised the developmental work of the State government.

The CM said that for the primitive tribes, 2 per cent reservation system has been introduced in government jobs. The CM further appealed to villagers that they should use the toilet as 80 percent of the diseases are due to open defecation. He said that every village will have to ensure that their children go to school every day. If one child remains uneducated then developmental will take a back seat and have no meaning.
