Chief Minister Raghubar Das on Wednesday inspected several proposed sites for setting up of new Capital City in the periphery of Ranchi. The CM accompanied by the Chief Secretary and other senior officials visited Sukurhuttu, Malsiring and Pithoria areas before attending the Assembly Session. Das also took a halt near Sukurhuttu area to take information about availability of land and saw the maps there. He instructed senior officials to prepare a detailed proposal. The CM reiterated that establishment of new capital was the priority of the Government and the senior officials have already started work on the project. Chief Secretary Rajeev Gauba, Planning Secretary Arun Kumar Singh, Principal Secretary to CM Sanjay Kumar, Secretary of Revenue and land Reforms department KK Soan, DC Ranchi Manoj Kumar, SSP Prabhat Kumar and RMC officials were present.
