Chief Minister Raghubar Das has said that talents and capability of the youths of the State, after the policy of locality was defined by the State Government, have shut the mouth of those who earlier used to create hurdles in any recruitment process here. Das was addressing the newly-appointed wardens at Project Building in Ranchi while distributing appointment letters to them.
A total of 383 wardens were given appointment letters, out of which 381 were of Jharkhand including 59 women candidates into it.
“This Government is trying to remove the frustration and disappointment rife among the youths since the last 14 years as no recruitment were being made in the State due to lack of policy regarding locality in the State,” said the CM. All vacancies were being tried to be filled up, he added.
The CM further added that the recruitment of jail warden will help in removing the manpower crunch in various jails in the State which will further bring positive impact on the work culture in Jails.
“You should try to show right path to the people who have lost track in their lives due to greed of money and finally and land in jails you have been given a chance to play an important role in the society,” CM said. Fulfill the responsibility as a ‘karmyogi’, he added.
CM also asked the newly appointed wardens to become dutiful and disciplined public servants and behave equally to all. “You should also take care of the poorest person coming to jail and help in implementing the welfare programmes being conducted of the prisoners in the State,” CM said.
