Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Thursday sanctioned Rs45 lakh for the proposed Oxygen Park at Morhabadi area in the City. Chief Conservator of Forest will look after the implementation of the project, which includes construction of check dam, boundary wall, afforestration, water supply etc.
The Chief Minister on Thursday gave approval of Rs4433.98 lakh for green projects in cities, government buildings, schools, colleges, national highways, statehighways and other roads, construction of parks and beautification of cities.
Plants will be covered inside gabions besides roads. The scheme has been approved till the year 2017-18 and Rs1586.02 lakh has been sanctioned for the current financial year. Each year new places will be chosen for the schemes.
