CM for timely disposal of corruption cases

Published on:

Chief Minister Hemant Soren instructed Chief Secretary for timely disposal of cases and action on the cases related to corruption.

The CM referred to the matters coming before him in which embezzlement of public money and irresponsibility in delivering duties by Government officials have been reported and found prima facie true but no action initiated against them.

The Chief Minister termed it a worrisome issue and said that it encourages corruption. He directed the Chief Secretary to review all such cases pending with various Government Departments within 15 days. He also sought for action in a time bound manner in which probe is on or pending. The CM also stressed to look into cases in which no FIR has been lodged or no action has been initiated.
