On the orders of the CM Rs 11.94 crore have been sent to Government hospitals across the State so that medicines could be made available at all places.
Das ordered that in any situation the hospital management has to arrange sending bodies back home. He said that the Civil Surgeons of the district would be made accountable for the same and they have to ensure the task with all strictness. He asked the health department officials to buy new mortuary vans in all districts within two months and serve the people with the human spirit.
The CM asked to provide land to Tata Cancer Hospital near RINPAS in the city and complete the related work in set timeframe. He instructed to run hospitals in professional manner and arrange cleanliness, water, electricity etc on local level before informing the department. Managers need to keep track of cleanliness and if cleanliness is found then managers would be made responsible.
Talking tough on availability of medicines the CM said that no one would be spared in case of negligence. Medics can be kept on contract and could be paid like private hospitals. He asked the civil surgeons to inspect all hospitals in the district and find out whatever is lacking at the health centres.
Das also stressed on linking up small services related to medical field to the skill development. He said that he would inspect hospitals across the State and solve all the problems there at the same time no laxity would be tolerated in health services.
