Chief Minister Hemant Soren distributed assets worth Rs 1127.52 Cr in a Mega Assets Distribution camp organized in Dumka on Wednesday. The CM also took part in Division level ‘Apke Adhikar, Aapki Sarkar, Apke Dwar’ programme organized on the occasion and appealed to people to be a part of the development process of the State.
Addressing a huge gathering of common masses on the occasion, the CM said, “80 per cent of the state's population comes from rural areas. In such a situation, when the villages are strong, only then the block, district and state will become strong. For this purpose, action plans are being prepared according to the expectations, aspirations and needs of the people of the state. No one should be deprived of schemes related to public interest. That is why the programme ‘Aapke Adhikar, Aapki Sarkar, Aapke Dwar’ is being run. Through this, by organizing camps at village and panchayat level, your problems are being solved and linked to the schemes. Be a part of this programme because when you have a smile on your face, you will get respect, only then the schemes of the government will be successful.”
The CM said that the geographical structure of Jharkhand is a bit complicated. Villagers living in remote villages have to come to the block or district headquarters to take advantage of government work or schemes. Even after coming here, if their work is not done, then they suffer a lot of mental pain. They also stop thinking about taking advantage of the schemes. Keeping this in mind, the government is coming to your door and connecting you with welfare schemes, he added.
He further said that the government is determined to include Jharkhand among the leading states of the country. “With the cooperation of all of you, the development of the State is being accelerated. We are making such a system where there will be no crisis of livelihood in front of anyone,” he added.
The CM said that the government is working fast in the direction of providing employment to the youth of the State. For the first time, the appointment rules of various departments were made. In this, there is a system to give preference to tribals and natives in government jobs. At the same time, in private companies located in the state, arrangements have been made to give 75 percent jobs to the local people. He said that changes have been made in the Police Recruitment Rules. Now there will be physical examination first and then written. He said that within the coming 6 months, employment will be provided to 30 thousand people. He said that under the Chief Minister's Employment Generation Scheme, the government is giving loans up to Rs.25 lakh on subsidy for self-employment.
Soren said that the government is taking all possible steps to promote and market the products being made by Mahila Mandals. This will make women strong and self-reliant. During his address, he apprised the people about various welfare schemes of the government.
