CM dares Opp for open debate on development

Chief Minister Raghubar Das today came down heavily on Opposition parties for their “anti-development agenda” and challenged them for an open debate on issues concerning Jharkhand and its development.

Addressing a gathering of party workers and officials on the occasion of party’s Foundation Day here on Friday the CM said that the Opposition is spreading hatred and playing divisive politics in the State. Das asked his partymen not to get scared of the Opposition and said that Jharkhand will not tolerate any anti-development and demonic forces. “It will demolish them.

Opposition parties in Jharkhand including JMM, RJD and Congress among others concentrate and focus on spreading divide on the basis of caste and religion. However, they are afraid of debating on the matters of development that BJP undertook in these three years but just want to create obstacles on the path of development,” he said.

Challenging the Opposition, Das invited the JMM, RJD and the Congress to Morabadi ground for an open debate on development that has taken place across Jharkhand.

The CM went ahead in labeling the Opposition parties as opportunists, who only have the greed of power but are not interested in the welfare of the people. Das said that in their tenure they hardly did any development work and kept the people devoid of their own land, water and forests. He recalled the history of Jharkhand and said that the State would have been formed in 1993 itself but JMM could not resist the temptation offered by the Congress and sold the movement to them.

They sold the identity and pride of Jharkhandis to the Congress without any hesitation.  It was due to BJP’s efforts that Jharkhand could get its own existence.

“Eradication of poverty is an uphill and most important task at hand and it can be done only through education. If there is shortage of teachers then youngsters who have the skill of being good teachers maybe appointed on contractual basis.  The same formula can be applied in the healthcare sector,” said the CM.

However, he laid emphasis on proper training to be provided to these people. He added that the previous governments never wanted the people of Jharkhand to get education because they knew that it would end their politics based on vote bank. The CM, on the occasion, congratulated all the Ministers and party workers and applauded their work for the party and said that their hard-work and dedication has made BJP the world’s biggest party.
