Ranchi: Chief Minister Raghuvar Das announced a compensation of Rs 1 lakh to the kin of late Dinesh Mahto a, resident of Barkatha block of Hazaribagh on Friday. Dinesh Mahto passed away on September 29 at Maltania in South Africa. Barkattha MLA and chairman of Jharkhand State Housing Board, Prof. Janaki Prasad Yadav, had requested the CM for the assistance, a CMO release said.

Ranchi: ‘Krishi Samagam’ is scheduled to be held in the chairmanship of Chief Minister Raghubar Das on Saturday. The programme is being organised by Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Cooperatives Department at the second floor of Project Building, Dhurwa at Ranchi. 200 farmers from across the state will participate in the programme and share their experiences in the field of Agriculture Start-up, Agriculture Entrepreneurship, Co-operative Farming, Dairy, Poultry and Fisheries.
