Chief Minister Raghubar Das, Leader of Opposition Hemant Soren alongwith senior leaders of State expressed grief and paid tributes to Congress leader and former CM of Delhi Sheila Dikshit, who breathed her last in Delhi on Saturday.
The CM expressed deep condolences on the demise of Dixit and prayed to God to give her family the strength to endure the suffering. JMM chief and former CM Shibu Soren in his message said that Dikshit was renowned political leader and social worker. “She was soft spoken and friendly and was popular . She has done many works for development of Delhi. Her demise has brought an irreparable loss for not only Delhi but also for people across the country,” he added.
JMM executive president and Leader of Opposition Hemant Soren also expressed grief on the demise of the senior leader and said that Dikshit was an energetic and friendly CM, who played a crucial role in development of Delhi. Hemant said that she will always be remembered for bringing important changes in Delhi. The JMM leader prayed to the almighty for providing strength to the family and peace for the departed soul.
Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee president Dr Ajoy Kumar said that Dikshit’s demise is an irreparable loss for the Congress party. “Shiela Dikshit remained Chief Minister of Delhi for 15 years and she devoted her life in serving the nation. She was a leader acceptable to all, who gave new heights to Congress in Delhi,” he said.
CLP Leader Alamgir Alam alongwith senior leaders of State Congress also paid tributes to the departed soul.
