Chief Minister Raghubar Das today said that the leaders of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha want that to continue their political business. “They do not want you to be aware. They do not want your kids to be educated. Understand the character of JMM that claims to be well-wisher of tribals,” said the CM addressing people at Barhet here on Monday.
“Just before the election some invisible forces and members of Opposition mislead people against BJP that if BJP comes to power it will snatch your land. But, nothing like this happened in last four and half years. Saying this the JMM, Congress and invisible powers have stopped the development of Santhal Pargana,” he said.
“The development works that have taken place in the region in last four and half years could have been done earlier too, but those who do have any relation with development of the State will never talk about development,” added Das.
The CM said that resident of Nemra in Gola, who also happens to be a senior JMM leader has ignored the provisions of land laws and registered six land pieces for his family in a single dat. “While remaining in power, he bought land worth Rs 600 crore and proofs are there to support the fact. It is ironical that those who have snatched the land are now saying that BJP will snatch tribals’ land,” quipped Das.
