On the 17th establishment day of state of Jharkhand the Mayor, Deputy Mayor, ward councilors and staffs of Hazaribagh Municipal Corporation came forward with an unique idea of starting cloth bank for the benefit of poor people of the town and surrounding areas.
This idea was going on in their minds since last few months and to give it a real shape they chose the date of establishment day. Mayor Anjali Kumari, Deputy Mayor Annand Dev, Executive officer Kumud Kumar Jha and others started the functioning of the bank by giving cloths collected from the denizens of the town since last one week to the needy people.
Mayor Anjali Kumari said that the entire municipal corporation family contributed in making the idea a reality and they all collected cloths which are of no use for some families and of much need for the poor people of the town. She said that the way the denizens of Hazaribagh have donated their cloths to this bank we are hopeful that this bank will run forever to serve the poor people of Hazaribagh.
