RuPay Kishan Credit Card is beneficial scheme for the farmers so its flaws should be taken care of immediately.
Chief Secretary RS Sharma said while chairing a review meeting of the Agriculture department. CS calls KCC an innovative delivery system which acts as smart card and helps farmers to get hassle-free loans. He instructed the department to change the format for maintaining list of beneficiaries and ensure that the list is updated at regularly.
Sharma said website of Jharkhand State Horticulture Mission (JSHM) must be linked with the official State website. The CS also stressed on cashew cultivation on barren lands across Jharkhand. Secretary of Agriculture and Sugarcane development NM Kulkarni presented achievements of the department in 2013-14. As many as 1,436 farmers have been registered online for Spring Agriculture festival at Nagpur from February 13. Director, JSHM Prabhakar Singh explained projects under the mission.
