Shankar Nagachari, Director (Technical / CRD) led the Cleanliness drive at CMPDI Dispensary premises and disposal of garbage as part of ongoing Swachhata Pakhwada. Dr. (Mrs.) Shilpi Swaroop, Chief Medical Officer; Dr. (Mrs.) Seema Kumari Kachhap, Dy. Chief Medical Officer; GM/HoDs and other senior officials and employees of CMPDI participated in this drive.
In addition to the above, CMPDI and its Regional Institutes also carried out various activities like distribution of jute bags at Lohara Kocha Village, Ranchi; Dhanbad and Yensa and Borda Gram Panchayat , Maharashtra; Cleanliness drive by RI-I, Asansol and RI-II, Dhanbad; Awareness program on Single Use Plastics and distribution of Dustbins at Dhanbad, Awareness drive to sensitize people on harmful effects of plastic and distribution of Masks and sanitizers by Singhpur camp, RI-V, Bilaspur.
Under Swachh Bharat Mission of Govt of India, Coal India and its subsidiaries are observing Swachhata Pakhwada from 16th-30th June, 2024 to fulfill Mahatma Gandhi's dream of Cleanliness and Hygiene for the country.
