Functionaries of Ranchi Municipal Corporation assessed five plans of urban transformation for the State capital as representatives of IK Worldwide SCP Consultants Pvt ltd presented the design layouts of these projects before them on Friday.
Much awaited projects like Haj House in Kadru, Ravindra Kala Bhavan at Town Hall and the second phase of rejuvenation and beautification of Harmu River along with convention centre and urban tower to be built under the Smart City Mission were appraised by for possible modifications by Mayor Asha lakra, Municipal Commissioner Prashant Kumar and other civic body mandarins.
The proposed two-part urban tower in the upcoming Smart City at HEC area, housing both government offices and commercial establishments, has been planned to function as the one stop solution for every issue related to the city. Meanwhile, the 15 floor high convention centre will feature auditoriums, meeting halls, mini theatres, media centre, lawns, and restaurant with a total capacity to host 5,000 to 6,000 people at once.
