The Health and Wellness Fair 2018, the first of its kind event organised at Fun Factory near Jumar bridge at NH 33 on October 13 and 14 began with much enthusiasm and public participation here on Saturday. The event saw of leading healthcare institutions of Jharkhand including Santevita, Mahavir Medica, Patanjali and others as participating institutions.
NABH accredited Santevita hospital awarded as the cleanest hospital of the year 2017 by Ranchi Municipal Corporation has offered a 20 per cent discount on laboratory test to the visitors of the fair. It is well equipped maternity hospital and is trying to promote normal delivery instead of a caesarian delivery.
Mahavir Medica hospital has offered upto 50 per cent discount on laboratory tests and informed visitors about its affordable kidney transplant facility. The hospital also informed about its cashless cardiac surgeries under the Ayushmaan Bharat scheme and the 24x7 emergency admission facilities to road and traffic accident cases.
Patanjali offered Swadeshi Samriddhi Card enrollment to the fair visitors under which the beneficiaries can avail upto 10 per cent discount on products and other benefits. The card also covers an insurance of 5 Lakhs.
A key attraction in the fair was Energy Healing. Pranic Healing & Yoga Yana Vidya which organized energy healing camps at the fair. Pranic Healing offered 30 per cent discount on its exclusive sessions to the people enrolling at the fair where as Yoga Prana Vidya offered free energy treatment to people.
The Health and Wellness Fair has been organised for the first time in Ranchi. It has a unique concept and is being appreciated by the common people who have benefited from it.
