ARCS13 CONFERENCE ENDS SUCCESSFUllY
Ranchi: The International Conference on Advances in Refractories and Clean Steel Making “ARCS13” concluded on Friday at RDCIS, SAIl Auditorium. KK Mehrotra, CMD, Mecon, S Varadarajan, ED Incharge, RDCIS, Professor Deepak Majumdar, IIT, Kanpur, Mike Williams, MD, RHI, UK, Daniel Anderson, QMAG,Australia and YK Khanna, GM Steel, RDCIS participated in the concluding session. Varadarajen talked about minimisation of impurities like carbon, Sillicon, Phospherous, Sulphur, Nitrogen and Oxygen in steel for Automobile and line pipes through RH-OB and Vacuum Degassing technique. Shri Khanna, Co-Chairman, Conference Secretariate, gave an account of different technical sessions and their findings.The dicussion session was chaired any Mehrotra. He mentioned that the Indian steel producers should gear up to produce clean steel for the growing Indian market and develop refractories to produce clean steel and improve productivity.
Rotary Club holds Blood donation Camp
Ranchi: Rotary Club of Ranchi has been organising a Blood donation camp with Ranchi Chapter of Cost Accountants on July 1, 2013. Social organisation like “Manohar lal Samriti” and “Jharkhand State Productivity Council” are also associated with this project. This program is in order to welcome the new President of Rotary Club of Ranchi, Rtn Ajay Deep Wadhwa. Members of Rotary Clubs, The Institute of Cost Accountants of India,JSPC and MlS will donate the blood on this occasion.
‘Saluting Military’ programme held
Ranchi: To salute the indomitable courage and services of Indian Army on Friday, Indian Student Council, Ranchi organised “saluting the military” programme at RlSY University. Addressing “Saluting the military” program town’s incharge Atal Pandey said, “After seeing the bravery of Indian army the whole country is saluting them.” Nitin Katyayan said, “Military forces have helped the country in every adverse condition. So, every youth of our nation should salute and get motivated from them”. Amit Kumar, Sumit Kumar, Ankit Kumar, Radhe Kumar were present there.
Small Industries’ body orgainises workshop
Ranchi: Jharkhand Small Industries Association conducted a workshop in joint collaboration with Calster Coft, GIZ Germany and MSME at Udyog Bhawan, Kokar, on Friday. Emphasis was laid on the plans of Central Government for the development of CalsterCoft was elaborated.
