A special meeting of Jharkhand State Dafadar Chowkidar Panchayat, District Branch Lohardaga was held on Monday under the chairmanship of State Joint Secretary cum District President Samsul Ansari at Eucalyptus Ground near the Collectorate. State President Krishna Dayal Singh was present in the meeting as the chief guest. A four-point resolution was passed unanimously in the meeting. The demand letter related to the four resolutions passed was given in the name of Chief Minister Jharkhand Government through Lohardaga Deputy Commissioner. It has been said in the four-point demand letter that 1. An ordinance is issued immediately to re-contribute the retired chowkidars to the service and to appoint the dependents of the retired chowkidars before and after January 01, 1990, according to the pre-appointment process. Should be done or Village-Chowkidar (Amendment) Bill-2022 should be passed and there should be an immediate ban on making appointments by taking out advertisements on old vacant beats. (a) In the light of Jharkhand Chowkidar Cadre Rules 2015, a provision has been made to appoint a watchman at 100 to 120 residential houses. In this case, by creating a new beat, the advertisement on the new beats can be taken out. 2. The watchmen who have been given ACP, MCP. have got the benefit, their arrears should be paid and till now the watchmen who have received the ACP. or M.A. If the benefit of CP has not been received, taking special interest should be given to them immediately. Simple instructions should be given to all the circle officers to take action in this regard. 3. The compliance of letter number 5020 dated 11.09.2017 of the Home Jail and Disaster Management Department of the Government of Jharkhand should be strictly enforced. The meeting was mainly attended by State Treasurer Mithlesh Yadav, Tetar Khan, Jalil Ansari, Rabira Devi, Shanicharia Oraon, Prati Oraon, Krishna Mahato, Kaleshwar Mahato, Abul Khair Ansari, Anil Kujur, Suresh Oraon, Prakash Oraon, Somra Oraon, Pati Oraon, A large number of Dafadar watchmen including Ejaz Ansari, Vishnu Oraon, Anuj Oraon, Hardayal Oraon, Karma Oraon etc. were present.
