A 15-member business delegation from Guizhou province of China visited the State and explored investment opportunities with the Chhattisgarh Government.
Guizhou, is a province of the People's Republic of China located in the South Western part of the country with its capital city of Guiyang.
Representatives of GuizhouMartime Silk Road International Investment Corporation had met Chief Minister Raman Singh and the State delegation in New Delhi in September 2016 and expressed their business interest in Chhattisgarh and mentioned in the meeting to bring Guizhou province investors to the State.
Singh shared that a Government delegation from Chhattisgarh visited Henan in China in April 2016 and the State Government received huge hospitality and response from China visit.
The Chief Minister discussed several areas of collaboration such as setting up of Industrial Park, Smart City development, energy infrastructure development, technology, and collaboration between the two States.
Singh also discussed on dedicated Industrial zone development in Chhattisgarh for Chinese companies.
