Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in Kolkata Ma Zhanwu said that there is a brighter prospect of investment in Jharkhand and the State Government has adopted a supportive attitude towards the investors. Znanwu, during an interactive meeting with JHARCRAFT Managing Director AT Mishra at Hotel Radisson Blu in Ranchi, also asserted that China will be happy to become a business partner in Jharkhand attended by prominent businessmen and Industrialists of the state.
During the meeting, organized by Federation of Indian Export Organization, Jharkhand Chapter Zhanwu added that Jharkhand has done well in the field of ease of doing business which is really a remarkable achievement for the state. Praising the energetic attitude of the people of Jharkhand, Consulate General also said that larger populations of the state are hard working. “We would be happy to work with such a government and people,” said the Consulate General.
Earlier on Sunday, Zhanwu met Chief Secretary Rajiv Gauba and gave a brief presentation on the latest developments of China-India relationship and the Belt and Road Initiatives, saying that China attaches great importance to it and wishes to promote exchanges and cooperation in various fields with Jharkhand. Zhanwu during his meeting with the Chief Secretary also asserted that Jharkhand was the first state to be chosen for visit outside West Bengal.
Chief Secretary Rajiv Gauba welcoming Zhanwu, assured that Jharkhand was committed to improving state’s environment of doing business which has been ranked 3rd among the states in India in this regard. Gauba also hoped to see more exchanges and cooperation with China, especially in the field as mining, steel, auto manufacturing, education, and environment protection.
later in the evening today, Zhanwu met Ranchi Mayor Asha lakra and Deputy Mayor Sanjeev Vijaywargia to discuss scope for development in the capital city.
He invited them to initiate talks with China for investments meant for developing Ranchi and extended his congratulations on the city being selected for the Smart City project. lakra assured the Consulate General of cooperation for bettering the city.
