The achievement of child artists has been markable in the artistic field of lohardaga. Started in 2002 the Divine Spark’s Pubic school has been becoming the symbol of achievements.
The students of the school and the director-cum-senior artist BK Balanjinappa have won as many as 80 prizes at national and international level. Apart from getting the prizes theses children are spreading the social messages on various subjects to the society. These create awareness among the people against the social evils.
In the club there are 50 students from Divine spark’s public school and Yatiraj Divine spark’s public school.
Balanjinappa said, “I have started to teach the students the traits of dramas from 1995 and it turned into club in 2002. Now we are trying to take it up to 100. At first we used to conduct only dramas but now dances have become the part and partial of our club.”
In club 90 percents of children belong to Muslim community. These are given training by Balanjinappa on each Saturday.
In last days some child artists had won the national level prizes at Cuttack. Now they are preparing for next stage competition. RD Gurudev Happy Anal of club has won 12 prizes in age of his 11
He carries distinguished status in field of dance. He makes the figure of Ganpati by his stomach during dance.
Aman Tirky had won the prize of best artist at Cuttack in National dance competition held in 2011. Noor Haq Ansari has also won the prize of best child artist for acting as washer man.
Balanjinappa has also won 33 national prizes in last 20 years. He also writes for children and directs many of dramas. The most of dramas played are small but their messages are great.
They include the matters of education, feticides, dowry system, witchcraft, girl’s education and many more.
There are artists from 6 to 16 yeas in the club. During the courses RD Vivek Joy 18 years has won 16 national prizes. Vivek directs the children of the club.
