Chief Secretary Raj Bala Verma directed that the proposed routes connecting rural areas with roads should be taken up immediately. She directed to maintain quality in work and conduct weekly review meeting with the contractors.
Verma directed that road construction should be ensured as per schedule and for NOC from Forest Department, all the concerned official should coordinate with DFO. She mentioned that work order should be released for all newly proposed roads whose tender is completed and work must be taken up soon. Notably, this year 1500 km roads have been completed against the targeted 3000 km. Moreover, tender for 1700 km rural road has been completed.
Verma asked the respective departmental Secretary to review the development work in Dumka, Godda, Bokaro, Giridih, East Singhbhum including Jamtara and compile a brief report.
