Jharkhand Governor-cum-Chancellor Draupadi Murmu has given consent to inaugurate the All India Commerce Conference going to be held at Vinoba Bhave University Hazaribagh next month.
Chancellor and Professor Gurdeep Singh gave this information on Sunday. The Human Resource Development minister of Jharkhand Neera Yadav will be the guest of honor of the inauguration ceremony.
This year Vinoba Bhave University Hazaribagh is going to host the All India Commerce Conference. It is scheduled to start on November 6 and will conclude on November 8. local MP cum Minister of state in central government Jayant Sinha and ex-MP and ex-union minister Yashwant Sinha are also expected to be present in both opening and closing ceremony of this conference.
In last year's conference a University of Karnataka has taken the responsibility to host the conference of 2015 but they refused to host it because of some problems and then three months ago the All India Association of Commerce teachers offered VBU to host the program and VBU accepted it.
In this All India Commerce Conference more than 800 delegates from all over India are going to participate in this three day long program. Besides this the office bearers of the association will also arrive here because as per the rules of the association election/selection of new office bearers will also take place during this three day-long conference.
Preparations are going on at full swing in VBU to make this conference successful. The finance committee of Vinoba Bhave University has already approved a budget of Rs 1.04 crore for the organization of this conference.
Almost all the hotels of Hazaribagh town have been booked to provide lodging facility to the delegates. Some delegates will stay in the hostels and university guest house.
Arrangements to bring them Hazaribagh from Ranchi and nearby railway stations have also been made. The conference halls of VBU are ready to accommodate the delegates coming from entire country.
VBU administration has first tried to invite Prime Minster Narendra Modi to inaugurate the conference but when PMO not confirmed his program then the VBU administration decided to make the Chancellor, chief guest of the inaugural function.
