Chain plan a success in Hzb despite heavy rains

It was raining cats and dogs on Wednesday in and around Hazaribagh, but the enthusiastic volunteers of All Jharkhand Student’s Union were on roads to make their show a grand hit. The human chain programme of AJSU was successful in Hazaribagh though continuous rain and traffic disturbed the volunteers in keeping the chain intact.

At about 11 am the volunteers of Hazaribagh AJSU formed the chain which started from Salparni gate to Charhi. Thousands of volunteers stood on roadside to complete the chain and even rain failed to discourage them. In the town female volunteers constituted the part of the chain for about 3 kms and for more than 3 hours they stood on roadside in the shed of umbrellas. At crossings due to traffic the chain was getting disturbed in short spans but the volunteers never left their spots despite facing these difficulties.

The in-charge of Hazaribagh Sadar Assembly segment Pradeep Prasad, senior AJSU leader Vikash Rana, Manoj Srivastava, Pradeep Mehta, Tiwari Mahto, Sandeep Singh and others were vigilant in their areas and volunteers were also engaged in taking care of those in the line.

More than 10,000 AJSU workers participated in constituting the human chain in Hazaribagh block area which started from Nagwan and ended at Demotand.
