Centre to sell everything in monetisation’s name: Cong

Former Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee (JPCC) Chief, Dr Ajoy Kumar attacked the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) led Central Government on Tuesday and said that the Government will sell everything in the name of monetisation.

Kumar questioned the policies of the Central Government and said that under the guise of monetisation, it is doing business. “PM Modi has arranged income for ‘We two, our two (Hum Do Hamare Do)’ for the next 40 years. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and others have talked about monetisation using big words in English but business is being done through it. The Government has talked about monetisation of Rs Six lakh crores,” he added.

The former JPCC Chief said that the Government decided that the property acquired in 75 years of this Country has to be sold. “Rail, BSNL, gas pipelines and others have to be sold. There is no limit to the lies of the Government,” he added.

“The Government is saying that 400 railway stations will be sold, 90 trains will be sold, railway corridors will also be sold. Don’t trust the Modi Government. There is no confidence when he will sit to auction the Parliament building too. The Central Government is engaged in selling everything of the railways. Now it will also sell those railway stadiums, in which the players who won medals in the Tokyo Olympics were trained,” said Kumar.

The Congress leaders said that preparations are on to sell railway stations, stadiums, airports, highways as well. “On the one hand, the Government talks about giving its godowns for 4 years in the press conference. On the other hand, the Secretaries of the Government say that for 25-30 years, the private sector will give their godowns where the food corporation’s paddy is kept. Poor man is brutally beaten up in the Country. Cases are made against him. Action is taken against them due to being a minority community. A poor bangle seller was beaten up in Indore. Rickshaw pullers were beaten up in Kanpur. His daughter kept crying because he belonged to the minority community. Now attacks are being done on the basis of caste. Whoever wants to take power, but does not break the Country,” he added.

Kumar said before the elections in Jharkhand, there were 17 mob lynching cases. “Elections are to be held in UP also. Now mob lynching will start there too. Congress party is the only party in the Country which stands in the trouble of people of all religions. On the death of former UP CM and BJP leader Kalyan Singh, the BJP put the flag of its party on the tricolour on his body. This is a crime in the eyes of law. This is a non-bailable act. In such a situation, a case should be registered against BJP President JP Nadda,” he added.
