Terming unemployment as main problem before the youths of the State labour and Employment Minister Raj Paliwar said that the Governments both at the Centre and Jharkhand are working in that direction.

“Both Narendra Modi and Raghubar Das Government are aware of the problems of youth of this country and the State. the Das Government is working hard to solve the problems. The main problem of today’s youth is unemployment. The government has planned to arrange employment fair in entire state regularly and it is the first fair organised by government department at Hazaribagh to give the youths of this district an opportunity of direct interaction with the employers,” said Paliwar in a job fair organised in ITI premises of Hazaribagh on Thursday.

20 private companies took part in the fair and more than hundred aspirants have already been selected by them. The process will go on Friday also because of large number of job seekers. Some companies will make the final selection tomorrow. Today most of them concluded their preliminary selection round.

Earlier the Minister along with MlA Manish Jaiswal and DC Mukesh Kumar inaugurated the fair by lighting the lamp and cutting the ribbon. Addressing the gathering the Minister said that in one year long tenure the Das government has done brilliant work and World Bank’s report is a confirmation of the hard work of this government. In the days to come many business houses and businessmen are expected to arrive in the state which will create more job opportunities for the youths of this State.

MlA Manish Jaiswal thanked the Minister and his department for organising job fair at Hazaribagh and said that due to lack of employment opportunities youths of this area are forced to go out the state to earn livelihood. “More and more youths of this state can earn their bread in the state when developmental works and industrialisation will start at big level. Mudra Bank scheme of Central Government is a step which has been brought to give the youths an opportunity to start their own business and thus to give employment to others also,” said the MlA.

DC Mukesh Kumar said that government jobs are very limited in numbers while there are many jobs in private sectors. The youths will have to leave the lust of government job and should try for jobs in private sector. Today in private sector youths are getting satisfactory jobs with attractive salary and promotional benefits. In private sector your performance and output is counted and good work can pull you up and up in the field of your specialisation.

A good number of aspirants were present in this job fair. Officials of district administration were also present in this fair and were assisting the aspirants in search of a suitable job for them.
