The Bridge of Sankh River near Rag Toli of Sadar block was jointly inaugurated by Minister of State Rural development Sudarshan Bhagat and MlA Kamal Kishor Bhagat. “The Central Government is all devoted to development. The people will not suffer anymore as the construction of the bridge has started,” he said. MlA KK Bhagat said, “By this bridge the people of around 25 villages will be benefited.”
The bridge is constructed under the plan Gram Setu with an estimate of Rs 245 lakhs. The inauguration of check dam and lift irrigation plan of Rs 49800 lakhs under ACA plan, the bridge on Koel river worth Rs 283.05 lakhs under Mukhyamantri Gram Setup plan, bridge and guard wall construction in Mukunda area of Bhandra Kaspur road worth Rs 20-19 lakhs under ACA plan and PCC road construction at PWD road Barh Baratpur worth Rs 44.188 lakhs was done.
On the occasion DC Manjunath Bhajantri SDO Saurabh Kumar Sinha, DRDA director Vinod Kumar Chaudhary, BJP district head Rakesh Prasad, AJSU leader Suraj Agarwal and many rural people were present.
