A monitoring team of the Union Rural Development Ministry arrived here on Monday on an eight-day tour of Garhwa district.
Team members will be visiting at several places in the district and to know about details of development plans.
The team will be also inspecting centrally sponsored schemes including MNREGA, PM housing etc.
After the visit, the team will be submitting a detail report to the Government. Team members KK Mahapatra and Hirdyanand Mishra, both engineers held a meeting with the Block Development Officers, Block Programme Officer and other Technical Officers of various blocks in the conference hall, today and took detailed information about the ongoing schemes in the district and passed necessary directions to the officials. According to the information, the members of the team will conduct physical inspection of various schemes from January 29 to February 5. Currently three blocks have been selected for inspection that is Garhwa, Meral and Dandai .
