Five employees, who are posted at Central Coalfields ltd (CCl)'s headquarters, Darbhanga House, Ranchi superannuated from their services on Wednesday. They were given warm farewell at a function held at 'Coal Room,' Dharbhanga House, Ranchi.
The employees Virendra Narayan Singh, Chief Manager (S&M), Md. Hafizure Rahman, Assistant Supervisor(S&M), Md. Qamar Imam, Chief Draftman(Geology), Chabi Nag, Matron In-charge, Gandhinagar Hospital and Aklima Khatoon Sr. Aya, Gandhinagar Hospital.
Chief Guest of the felicitation ceremony Gopal Singh, Chairman-cum-Managing Director, CCl, handed over 'Thanks Giving letter', Service Certificate, cheque/documents of gratuity & CMPF, pension papers, medical cards, religious books etc., to the retired employees. Employees, who were superannuating in areas, were also given farewell in their respective areas.
Singh in his address said that retirement of these experienced employees is the biggest loss for the company. He further said that training to new recruits would be required to match their efficiency level with present retiring employees. He further said that experience is the all time solutions for all the arising issues.
R S Mahapatro, Director (Personnel) and P K Tiwari, Director (Technical/operations) also highlighted the contribution of retiring employees and wished them happy, prosperous and peaceful post retirement life. On this occasion, Subir Chandra, Director (P&P) was also present.
On this occasion, all the retiring employees expressed their personal views and acknowledged support and affection, which they got from the company in their service tenure. They wished that the company keeps achieving new heights in future.
The programme was coordinated and Welcome Address was delivered by V N Prasad, General Manager (Welfare), while vote of thanks was proposed by retired CMS, B M K Sinha. Navneet Kumar Senior Manager (Pers.), Nirmala Kiran, Manager (Pers.) and others played active role in organizing the function. General Managers, departmental heads and others employees were also present on the occasion.
