To mark the occasion as memorable one, on the sacrifice day of Pramvir Albert Ekka, on 3rd December 2013, a free health checkup camp was organised by CCl under its Corporate Social responsibilsity programme.
Dr Manju Mishra,Dr Kailash Prasad Dr Amresh Prasad and Dr Murmu attended the camp and examined 70 villagers and administered free medicine and necessary medical advise to the villagers.
Medical team also met the widow of late Ekka, Smt Balamdina Ekka, visited her home to pay their respects. CCl has adopted the village Jari and all sorts of welfare works are being done there.
The company has already sanctioned `50 lakh for a solar light plant. Presently; two adjacent villages of Jari village are getting light through the solar light plant. The work of construction of drains in Jari village has also been sanctioned. They are also planning irrigation facility to the farmers of Jari village and other adjacent villages. SD Singh, Sr.Manager (Civil) and RK Dasundhi, Asst Engineer (Civil), present on this occasion, inspected the site for irrigation. A programme was also organised by district administration to mark the sacrifice day of Ekka as offcials of CCl paid floral tribute to the martyr.
