A meeting of CCL Welfare board was held at CCL HQ, Ranchi. The meeting was presided by Director (Pers) CCL P.V.K.R.Mallikarjuna Rao. Meeting was attended by members of the Welfare Board and representatives of CCL Management.
Presiding the meeting Rao stated that the company is committed to augment the infrastructure and welfare amenities for the employees. He instructed that arrangements should be made in all the operational areas to ensure that there is no shortage of water during summer. He said that additional pumps should be arranged in the areas so that at the time of breakdown, the pumps may be utilized for supply of the water. He further said that a sports calendar should be made keeping in mind the Covid-19 regulations. The members of the welfare board gave their suggestions during the course of the meeting.
The meeting was attuned to the Covid-19 guidelines. Everybody present wore masks and practiced social distancing. The welcome address was delivered by GM(Welfare) Dr. A K Singh.
Prior to this meeting, another Governing Body Meeting of the Central Coalfields Employee Benevolent Fund Society was held at CCL HQ. The meeting was presided by Rao. The meeting was attended by the office bearers of Employee Benevolent Fund Society. Various matters related to the Employee Benevolent Fund including scholarship were discussed during the meeting.
