CCl CMD Gopal Singh has been presented with “Udyog Bharti Award” for his achievement in business and social service at 11th International seminar on “Africa: An Unlimited Opportunity”, organised by Indian Achiever’s Forum on 17th March, 2017 in New Delhi. On behalf of CMD, Alok Kumar Singh, Senior Manager, received the award. CCl has initiated number of new CSR initiatives. All these schemes have been based on the “Kayakalp Model of the Governance” which has “Transparency, Philanthropy and Ethics” as its core values. Singh has tried to ensure inclusive growth for the people of Jharkhand through these welfare schemes. He believes that the aim of CCl is to achieve holistic growth for downtrodden, villagers and workers. CCl has also established Jharkhand’s first Sports University in collaboration with the Jharkhand Government during his tenure.
