Four unidentified criminals looted the petrol pump of ex-MlA lok Nath Mahto situated at Barkagaon. Yester night between 11-12 pm criminals started knocking the door of the petrol pump office. Staff Pintu Kumar who was sleeping inside woke up and first refused to give petrol as the pump was closed.
The criminals requested that they have to carry a patient to Hazaribagh so please give the petrol. Pintu then opened the pump and gave petrol to them. They purchased petrol of Rs 500 and gave a note of Rs 1000. When Pintu went inside the office and opened the cash box they suddenly captured him and snatched all cash and cheques kept there.
The criminals looted about Rs 45000 cash and cheques of more than Rs 4 lakhs. Before leaving the pump they snatched the mobile phone of the staff. After registering the case Barkagaon police has started investigation.
