The CBSE on Friday released the results of Class XII with Capital schools releasing the toppers’ list. This year too Capital students have scored good marks. The CBSE released the results of all three streams, Arts, Science and Commerce. A total of 38,570 students had written the examination, while 35,596 have cleared it. Here 22,895 were boys of which 20,854 cleared the exam, while 15675 girls sat for the exams, out of which 14,742 were declared pass.
From Delhi Public School (DPS), 728 students appeared in the examination with 446 students securing 90 per cent and above, 601 students scored 85 per cent and above, while 196 students scored 100 per cent marks in at least one subject.
Stream wise in Science stream, Aditya Prakash scored 98.2 per cent, Shikha Suman scored 98 per cent, and Aman Prajapati scored 97.6 per cent.
Smriti Goel with 99.4 per cent is topper in Commerce stream followed by Aishwarya Singh getting 98.8 per cent followed by Piyush Banka securing 97.6 per cent. In Arts Shakeb Arsalan with 99.4 per cent is topper, followed by Maksha Nagpal and Tapasya Ganguli both getting 98.8 per cent.
Navneet Jalan of DPS has passed the examination with flying colours. Navneet has secured 97 in English, Business studies 99, Accountancy 99, Economics 99 and Mathematics 95 marks.
Another DPS student Ayushi Purwar daughter of suspended IAS officer Pooja Singhal too has passed the examination beating all odds. Ayushi has secured 97.6 per cent marks in the CBSE 12th examination. When she was going for the exam, ED raids were going on in the house. Despite this, he gave the exam without panic. The determination and preparation were such that he got 100 per cent marks in the sociology exam he took on 6th May. Apart from this, Ayushi secured 96 per cent marks in English, History, Economics and Political Science.
From Jawahar Vidya Mandir in science 421 students appeared, in commerce 163 students while in arts 96 students sat in examination. All students have cleared the test. Stream wise in the Science stream, 98 students have scored above 90 per cent marks, 243 have scored above 80 per cent, 421 have scored above 60 per cent, while 12 students have scored 100 per cent marks in different subjects.
On the other hand, three toppers of the stream include Tanish Agarwal (98.8 per cent), Samridhi Singh (98.2 per cent), and Yuvraj Dutta (97.8 per cent).
In the Commerce stream, 36 students have scored above 90 percent marks, 99 have scored above 80 per cent, 152 have scored above 60 per cent, while 2 students have scored 100 per cent marks in different subjects.
From Surendranath Centenary School, 295 students appeared in Class XII examination with 232 in science stream while 63 students in commerce. The pass percentage in both the stream is 100 per cent. Aishwarya Prachi in science stream has get 95.6 per cent followed by Atif Shahab with the same percentage. In commerce Aditi Mukherjee is topper with 97.4 per cent marks followed by Krsihan Jalan with 96 per cent.
From DAV Kapil Dev 343 students appeared in science stream with 36 students getting more than 90 per cent marks, 248 students have secured distinction. The school topper is Sakshee Priya with 95.4 per cent marks.
