Comptroller and Auditor General of India Shashikant Sharma met Chief Minister Raghubar Das on Wednesday during his Jharkhand visit. The CAG, on the occasion, lauded the pace of development taking place in the State and building the atmosphere for that. Works done in infrastructure, especially roads were praised.
The CAG said that greater capital expenditure projects good health of infrastructure. At the same time, good revenue generated would enhance the capacity of the State take borrowings for social sector spending. The CM thanked him for his visit.
