A businessman of the east Gola road Prakash Agarwal was kidnapped in broad daylight on Monday from Bhouro village of Bhandra block. Prakash used to supply the grocery material the shopkeepers of Masmano, Bhouro and Bedal.
On the day of kidnapping, he was coming back from a village after collecting his money.While returning, some unknown miscreants held him near the Bhouro river petrol pump. One of the kidnappers asked for lift on his bike while as the other members of his group were already waiting at the petrol pump.
The villagers informed thana-in-charge of Bhandra and after not getting any clue, the relatives of the victim informed SP Manoj Ratan Chothe about the incident. After 36 hours of kidnapping, his relatives lodged an FIR at the police station.
Meanwhile the members of Commerce chambers submitted a letter to the DC and cursed the incident. They demanded his release within next 24 hours. By the incidents there is feeling of panic among the businessmen of the city. Police has started search operation to find the businessman and nab the abductors, said SP Manoj Ratan Chothe.
