Students of Burnpur Boys High School (BBHS) have once again proved their mettle by bagging the third prize in the District-level Science Drama Competition-2015 organised by Ministry of Culture, Government of India at Science Centre, Burdwan.
While the drama by students of the school based on the theme “Science and Society” and sub-theme “Cleanliness and Helath” won the third prize, the script for the play written by Sri Bhanu Pratap Singh, ex-Teacher of BBHS won the award of Best Scriptwriter.
A total of seven teams participated in the competition, out of which six teams were from Burdwan.
Aniket Yadav, Sidhant Bharati, Syed Alsahaf, Raj Kumar Sharma, Suraj Kumar Prasad, Abhishek Jaiswal, Hemant Kumar Mandal and Akash Sharma were the students who played different roles in the prize-winning drama.
