A team of assessors rushed to Bokaro for on-site assessment of the entry of Bokaro Steel Plant for the prestigious CII-EXIM Bank Business Excellence Award.
The team led by B N Jha from Aditya Birla Management Corporation limited Mumbai and consisting of VS Appaji, Sanjay lamba, Manish K Mehta, Robert Vas, Samin Tuddu, Balkrishna Kulkarni and T Jorge are carrying out the assessment comprising site visits and interaction with various team heads on the assessment criteria.
BSl officials said, this award is one of the most rigorous and recognised systems of evaluating business excellence. As the premier industry association of India, CII is an apt agency for instituting such an award for the domestic industry and businesses.
“A large number of corporates apply for this award, and the assessment team conducts site visit for only those applicants who score a certain minimum of marks on the basis of the application document”, added the officials.
