The group of BSL personnel helping the needy during the lockdown period known as “Ispat Sparsh” has been continuously supported by the steel workers. Even during Lockdown 4.0, the team of ispat sparsh is helping them by reaching out to the needy.
To give a boost to this effort of Ispat Sparsh, the team of CRM-3 Department of BSL took the initiative and presented them a support amount of fifteen thousand rupees. On behalf of CRM-3, Chief General Manager Rajan Prasad presented the support money to the team. On behalf of Ispat Sparsh, Deputy General Manager (CSR) CRK Sudhanshu, member of Ispat Sparsh received the support from Mr. Prasad. During this occasion other senior officers of CRM-3 were also present.
It is known that the team of ispat sparsh has so far provided 1500 packets of ration to the needy and provided food to more than 1700 people. The team has also provided milk for young children and distributed sanitary napkins among women in some areas. The team is committed to continue this work even further and the steel workers are constantly making voluntary contributions in their efforts.
