General Manager of BSL (Ranchi) Umesh Prasad Sah met Amarendu Prakash, Director-in-charge of Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL) and discussed in detail the possibilities of improvement in IT, Telecom and Network Infrastructure in BSL.
During the meeting with the Director-in-charge Amarendu Prakash, Sah first presented a copy of his written book Kalpana Talkies to him. During the discussion, he discussed the role of IT and telecom sector in Covid-19 era, especially work from home, online education initiatives by schools and colleges and the importance of IT and telecom sector in offices and businesses. To strengthen and facilitate the functioning, Sah apprised the Director-in-charge of the need for fiber-to-home network for unlimited bandwidth and BSL’s future plans in this direction. He also discussed the IT and Telecom Infrastructure of Bokaro Steel Plant in detail with the Director-in-Charge and gave some suggestions on the possibilities of improvement in it.
Sah, who was earlier Director (IT), Government of Jharkhand and CEO of two Jharkhand based start-up companies, Innovation Labs and Jharkhand Communication Network Limited, has also worked in the field of Telecom and Cyber Security in West Bengal, Andaman and Sikkim.
The Director-in-charge thanked Sah for the suggestions and proposals related to the improvement of IT and telecom services in BSL and spoke of positive initiatives in this direction.
