An employee of Bokaro Steel Plant (BSl) committed suicide inside the plant after he was allegedly scolded and humiliated by his senior officer.
RK Sahani (59) was an operator (MPO) at Hot Strip Mills. He committed suicide on Saturday morning, his body was found hanging from the ceiling, informed Chief of Communication of BSl.
Around 10 am his body was found hanging inside the HSM area.
Union leader Mehata and others alleged that Sahani committed suicide after he was scolded and humiliated by his senior officers. He was to retire from his job in May this year.
Police also recovered a suicide note from the spot and investigating the matter.
