BSL's quick turnaround under DIC Prakash leadership was praised after being appointed in November 2020 and many achievements marked in terms of BSL productions record. Loss-making BSL earned the highest among all SAIL units in the financial year 2020-21. Under his leadership only the resolution of a “Better Month every month” fulfilled with the cooperation of the workers, the result of which is in front of all .It is noteworthy that during quarter one when SAIL recorded profit before tax of 5144.89 crore, BSL alone contributed 1878.6 crore Profit before tax & thus BSL leads SAIL units in terms of profit accountability in the first quarter under the guidance of DIC Prakash which is really a commendable figure specially during pandemic period of COVID 19 . DIC Prakash focus is not just in production but post his inception as DIC BSL it has been found that Bokaro Township development is also under his prime agenda.
