Following the Swachh Bharat campaign, Bokaro Steel Plant and District Administration Bokaro flagged off a special drive ‘Swachhta Hi Seva’ for a clean Plant, Township as well as the district.
Terming cleanliness as a collective responsibility and a perquisite for safety Bokaro DC, Rai MP Ray called upon each and everyone to become an integral part of this movement by involving themselves whole heartedly for the noble cause.
Ray alongwith other officials cleaned the campus and encouraged them to emulate Mahatma Gandhi, who always stressed on cleanliness. “A clean mind gives a clean environment,” he said.
He urged the officials to create awareness among the people about the factors that are causing environmental pollution daily and also to play a positive role in making their place clean and green.
Ray requested the residents to ensure that the programme is effective and not just symbolic.
